Families are always welcome at Millennium & Copthorne Hotels. Subject to the availability of suitable rooms, we can provide free accommodation for children up to the age of 16. For the under 5's we can even provide all their meals free of charge. Children up to the age of 12 can enjoy a feast of their choice from our exclusive Legoland menu. Here we offer such delights as Magical Starters, Pirate's Platter and Fireman's Fillers, all the kid's favourites. If they prefer of course we can always serve a half portion of any dish on our main restaurant menu.

Introduced into most UK properties during the spring of 2002, Le Club offers the perfect atmosphere to exercise and tone or just to relax beside the pool. It's the combination of superb facilities and a relaxed atmosphere that attracts members and guests to return again and again. Children are welcomed into our pool areas when accompanied by an adult. We do request that they remain supervised and we cannot allow under 16's entry to the gym facilities.

Your Questions Answered
What is included in the price shown in the price panels?
Prices are quoted per person per night including full breakfast, service and VAT at 17.5%* and are based on two adults sharing a standard double/twin room. When do Sunday Specials apply?
Sunday Specials only apply when Sunday is the third night of a weekend stay, i.e. you are staying Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. A Sunday Special gives you 50% off the bed and breakfast rate. Sunday Specials cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer. When can I add the special £12.50 dinner offer to my Weekends Away?
In order to benefit from the very special £12.50 dinner supplement, this must be booked in advance when you make your room reservation. It is not possible to add this later or whilst staying at the hotel and there is no refund for meals not taken. (Not available at Millennium Hotel London Knightsbridge Millennium Hotel London Mayfair, and all other hotels outside of the UK and France.) What is included in the £12.50 dinner?
A 3 course meal and coffee is included, or the hotel may offer an alternative allowance towards their à la carte menu. The hotel price details overleaf state the restaurant in which the dinner will be served and whether there is an alternative allowance. Do you cater for special diets?
We do cater for special diets, but you must check at the time of booking to ensure your chosen hotel can meet your exact needs. What does the 20% offer apply to?
We take 20% off additional food, drinks and telephone calls charged to your room. It does not apply to breakfast or dinner when you prebook the dinner, bed and breakfast package . (it also does not apply to events and functions). The 20% discount will be taken off your bill at check out. How much extra is the Romance Package?
A £30 supplement is added to your bill, it is not per person or per night. How do I calculate the cost for my 7-for-6 holiday?
Our reservations department will be able to confirm the rates for both weekend and midweek nights for your weeks stay. The final night is not charged and includes the cost of breakfast if you have booked the full week on the bed and breakfast package and dinner as well if you have booked the full week on the dinner, bed and breakfast package What rates are charged for children?
Subject to the availability of suitable family rooms, 1 or 2 children under the age of 16 sharing with 2 adults are accommodated free. If no family rooms are available, or if you prefer your children to have their own room, we offer special rates for their accommodation and our reservations team will be pleased to advise you. When up to 3 children are sharing with 1 adult, 1 child is accommodated free and the 2nd and 3rd children are charged 50% of the adult room rate. How are children’s meals charged?
Other children accommodated free who are 12 years old or under will be offered meals from a children’s menu or half portions at half price off standard menus. Meals for children over 12 years old are charged at the normal rate. We will be more than happy to heat baby bottles; jars of proprietary baby foods are available with our compliments. Can I book Christmas and New Year breaks?
As our hotels operate different packages at Christmas and New Year, Weekends Away rates do not apply to these holidays. However, we would be pleased to advise you what your chosen hotel is offering during these periods. Can I use Weekends Away rates at other times?
Weekends Away rates are not intended for business guests or for guests attending meetings, events or functions. The rates normally apply only between Friday and Sunday nights (except at Bank Holidays) and hotels such as the Copthorne Hotel Birmingham, Copthorne Hotel Hannover and Millennium Hotel Paris Opéra are unable to offer Weekends Away rates during major events. Please see the terms and conditions on this page for further information. *or the equivalent tax in France and Germany as at 2003.
Terms & Conditions
1. Bookings: please book your Weekends Away break by calling 0845 30 20001 open from 08.00 - 20.00 Monday to Friday and 09.00 - 13.00 Saturday. Outside of these hours you may call the hotel direct.
2. Weekends Away rates are only available Friday to Sunday (except at Bank Holidays). Midweek rates are available on request.
3. Prices are per person per night sharing a twin or double room and are inclusive of either bed and full breakfast (or continental breakfast served in room) or dinner, bed and breakfast as shown in the prices opposite. Dinner comprises a three-course meal plus coffee or, where available, an allowance towards the à la carte menu, as shown in the prices opposite. The dinner, bed and breakfast rate quoted in this brochure is only available when booked in advance. There is no refund for meals not taken. All nights must be booked on the same tariff. Single supplements may apply to occupancy of a double or twin room and will be confirmed at the time of booking.
4. Prices are inclusive of VAT at 17.5% for the UK and the prevailing rate at 1st September for France and Germany. For overseas bookings our reservations staff will advise the rate and taxes included or excluded at the time of booking. Any changes to VAT rates during the validity of this brochure may result in a price change. Sterling prices shown in overseas hotel prices are for illustration purposes only and will vary in line with the exchange rate. Sunday Special prices only apply when Sunday is the third night of a stay following a 2-night break on Friday and Saturday. Sunday Specials cannot be used in conjunction with any other price promotion. 7 for 6 breaks are calculated on the basis of the first nights being charged at the appropriate weekend and midweek rate and the 7th night is free. The 20% off additional food, drinks and telephone calls offer only applies to items charged to the room and not to elements of a pre-booked rate. It does not apply to breakfast or dinner when pre-booked as part of the dinner, bed and breakfast package. The offer does not apply to events and functions.
5. Rates for children sharing with adults or occupying their own room are set out in ‘Your Questions Answered’. Child rates are subject to the availability of suitable rooms.
6. All reservations are subject to availability. Since the Weekends Away rates are substantially discounted from the hotels’ normal rates, at certain times of the year, the number of rooms available on the Weekends Away tariff may be restricted. Weekends Away rates are not intended for business guests and guests attending meetings and events. The rates are not available at the Copthorne Hotel Birmingham and Copthorne Hotel Hannover during major events.
7. Bookings must be guaranteed by quoting a recognised and valid credit or charge card. In the absence of a credit/charge card the booking will be confirmed on receipt of a cheque equal to the cost of one night per room booked.
8. Cancellations may be made up until 14.00 on the day of arrival without penalty. Cancellations after this time and no-shows will be charged one night’s room rate per room booked.
9. Arrival and departure: bedrooms are usually available from 14.00 on the day of arrival. If you intend to arrive later than 18.00 please advise the hotel. You should vacate your room by noon on the day of departure unless special arrangements have been made for a late checkout.
10. All European hotels are 4-star rated.
11. Pets are accepted at the discretion of the hotel and with the exception of guide dogs, are not allowed in public areas.
12. Health and fitness facilities: A charge may be incurred for the use of certain facilities such as solaria, exercise classes and beauty treatments. Under 16’s are not permitted to use gymnasium equipment and must be accompanied by an adult at all times when using other facilities. Children under the age of 5 are not permitted to use spa pools, saunas, solaria and steam rooms.
13. Complaints and comments: Any complaint or comment regarding a hotel stay should be made at the time to the hotel’s Duty Manager in order for any problem to be resolved during the break. Problems that cannot be completely resolved at the time should be notified, in writing, within 28 days of departure to the General Manager at the hotel.
